Far from the high-rise coastal resorts, our holiday is in the heart of the beautiful Troodos mountains, to best experience the warmth of Cypriot hospitality and a delightful Mediterranean countryside rich with Byzantine treasures. We walk through ancient Nicosia, and follow the evocative Trail of Nightingales to Kaledonia Falls. In the Troodos mountains we walk through vineyards and olive groves, tasting wines and eating in small local tavernas for an exotic mix of Greek and Middle Eastern cuisine. Time, too, to visit the Baths of Aphrodite and the Tombs of the Kings as well as several monasteries and painted churches with their world famous mosaics. There may even be a chance for a day on the beach!
